THE LODGE
Deelkraal is more than a lodge: it’s a home away from home, complete with pool and pool house, bar, wellness, gym and yoga facilities. Beyond that await the savannah, the river, and a remarkable diversity of landscapes.
What makes Deelkraal unique is that all wildlife roams entirely within its grounds. Only guests have access, allowing you to experience the African bush in absolute exclusivity.
Our chef, guides and dedicated staff ensure a flawless stay. Creative dishes – featuring the finest home-raised meat – are served with the finesse of fine dining.
Deelkraal is a place to ground yourself, to absorb the sounds and scents of the bushveld. With only one booking at a time, you enjoy ultimate privacy and tranquility. For complete relaxation, you can even choose to disconnect from Wi-Fi and go fully offline.
THE ROOMS
The bedrooms each have their own spacious bathroom and open onto a terrace where each can enjoy their own space. All rooms are spacious, very well furnished and offer comfortable, understated luxury.
There are 5 bedrooms in the main house where the bathrooms have both a bathtub and shower. In the Garden Cottage there are 4 bedrooms where the bathrooms are equipped with a wonderful shower. All rooms have double beds and air conditioning.
It is possible to be disconnected from the network and wifi between certain desired hours during the day/night. So that you can relax in peace for a while without radiation and without stimuli.
We even provide childcare.
Wake up to silence, fall asleep to stars. This is how rest was meant to feel.
WELLNESS & SPORTS
You maintain your fitness in the equipped fitness room. Take a refreshing dip in the silky smooth water of our heated outdoor pool.
Need to switch off completely? That is also possible at Deelkraal. We even have a whole package of treatments by excellent specialists. All treatments are available either inside the wellness area or outside in the pergola tent.
Yoga mats are available.
Men cave
At Deelkraal you can enjoy the ultimate Men Cave, a place where relaxation and conviviality come together. Here you can enjoy the perfect balance between rest and fun. Play a game of billiards together or relax with a delicious mixed cocktail at the atmospheric bar. This unique space is designed to offer you a place where you can feel at home and experience your own moment of freedom.
Dining spots "at home"
Enjoying good food together is doubly enjoyable, and there are plenty of places to do so, in the living room, of course. There are three places in or around the house to have breakfast or dinner together.
By the fireplace in the living room you are well seated with a real feeling of home.
In the breakfast room the day always starts sunny. But if desired, you can also have breakfast on the roof of pool lapa.
On the roof of pool lapa near the pool you experience real vacation feeling. Ideal for a braai. You can eat here on top of the roof or inside pool lapa.
